Christmas is coming!

I get so excited the minute Bonfire Night is over because that means the next thing to look forward to is CHRISTMAS! Being a big kid at heart, does help keep the excitement alive for your children too. I think they grow up far too fast nowadays and we should keep them as innocent as we can for as long as we can. With this in mind I can't wait for two events that are coming up.

My job in Cloughton at Cober Hill Conference and Events Hotel is great, I'm so lucky working in such a beautiful location, the grounds are stunning.

Don't take my word for it, why not come and check it out for yourself. On Saturday 26th November they are holding their annual Christmas Market from 10am - 5pm. It's going to be a festive, fun, day for all the family and most importantly it's free to get in. There will also be entertainment and a free crafting table to keep the children entertained. That leaves time to wander round the stalls and find the perfect Christmas gifts for your family. If you don't live locally they are doing an amazing Christmas Shopping Weekend Package Deal for just £99 f

This will bring us to December and the We are Whitby team are holding Winterfest at the Spa Pavillion. A weekend of festivities starting on Friday 2nd December and ending on Sunday 4th. There will be so much to see and do, including an Ice Rink. Alistair Griffin will be opening the ceremony with his new song The Boy, The Rocket and The World.

I will be hosting a talk in the Northern Lights Suite at the Pavillion in Whitby at 12-12:30pm on the Saturday 3rd December . In this talk I will be sharing my tips and more on 'How to be Hard up and Happy'. Creating magic is free and I will show you how it's really not to be missed! I would love to meet as many of you as possible and put faces to the names I see on my blog.

On Sunday 4th December, myself and Sarah Skidmore, will be hosting a Toy Swap. Bring along toys that are no longer played with or grown out of- must be in great condition- and you will receive a raffle ticket for as many items as you bring. If you don't see a toy you would like, then come back throughout the day to keep an eye on the new toys coming in. This will be a great way to give your children new toys without spending a thing. Two great events with free entry to get you into the Christmas Spirit. I can't wait for a mulled wine and a mince pie.
